That’s right. KGMB, Hawaii’s CBS affiliate hates it’s Hawaii viewers who own HDTVs.
Sure, you can watch CBS Sports NFL games in HDTV, but when it comes to prime-time programming this is what you’ll get if you’re hoping for HD:

Now I held back from complaining since not even Jennifer Love’s weekly shower scene on The Ghost Whisperer was enough to get me wanting to watch that show in HD, but tonight is a whole ‘nother ball game.
I can forgive KGMB airing The Late Show in standard definition. It’s a talk show after all, but this is inexcusable. Gratuitous eye-candy like The Victoria’s Secret Fashion show is why HDTV was created!
Screw you and your top rated late evening newscast, KGMB! I spit on your channel and its standard-def prime time shows. Might as well watch that drivel on My Network.
