Keep in mind though that this is the second storm that’s been put on track for a direct barrel roll through the island chain.
Keen media observers will wonder if, upon an announcement of imminent hurricane mayhem, we’ll hear an eruption of joyful screams coming from the KGMB “severe weather” marketing department.
Meanwhile, KITV insists on “delivering weather without fear” perhaps recalling Dan Cooke’s don’t worry ’bout the storm warning delivered one week before Iniki clobbered the Garden Isle of Kauai.
