Folks, it’s a sure sign your life is headed in the wrong direction when your mom files a restraining order against you.
A day before the Holloways were robbed, Ruben Royce allegedly broke into his girlfriend’s bedroom in Village Park at 5:15 a.m. and punched her in the head, a police affidavit said.
Before the assault, she ran to her police officer neighbor’s house, but Royce pulled her back into the house. When the officer went outside, he could see Royce beating the woman, a court document said.
Royce’s mother wrote in a temporary restraining order request, “I helped his pregnant girlfriend, who he beat up on Aug. 31, to file charges. I feel he will want revenge.”
Amazingly the charges against him are “for violence unrelated to the Hawaii Kai robbery.”
This is the exception folks. Man, the dudes Dog catches seem a lot nicer in comparison.
