Among new of Talk Stink Story Productions plans for five films, including one based on the late sometimes great Radio Free Hawaii, comes this Chris Lee tidbit:
Chris Lee, chairperson of the University of Hawaii’s Academy for Creative Media, has NOT resigned his duties or left the leadership of the growing film school. He remains in charge, overseeing curricula and other ACM activities, despite executive producing “Superman Returns” and helping run a new Hollywood production company.
Lee’s contract with UH never required the Hollywood insider to stay at the university.
We’re guessing “NOT” is a directly attributable quote directly from the fax that ended up in Tim Ryan’s garbage can.
Of course, Lee can’t be required to stay; usually instructors at state universities require a Ph.d.
