Amanda Righetti’s Pipeline and Lost Tidbits

September 7th, 2005 · No Comments · News

Independent filmmaker Jordan Alan (”Terminal Bliss,” “Love and Happiness,” and “Kiss and Tell”) will film his low-budget surf-horror movie “Pipeline” on Oahu for six weeks beginning November using a majority of local actors cast principal roles and as extras — and at least an 80 percent local crew. Former “Baywatch Hawaii” actor Amanda Righetti has a lead role as Jocelyn.

Amanda Righetti (Va-Va-Voom!) was never on Baywatch Hawaii as far as we know, but then our fact checker doesn’t own a computer and lives on a beach on the North Shore and smokes ice most of the time.

Coincidently, sources tell us Righetti did star in a show you might have heard of called North Shore. She’s also listed as a producer of said indie film “Pipeline.”

Potential Lost spoilers after the jump.

“Lost” films this week in Heeia and Kualoa, a Kahala home and on Haleiwa’s Police Beach. Filming next week will include a Diamond Head bunker… Season two’s first episode — “Man of Science, Man of Faith” — introduces Desmond, played by Henry Ian Cusick, described in the script as “an avid daredevil” who prefers climbing the world’s tallest mountains solo … Other guest stars: John Terry as Shephard, Julie Bowen as Sarah, Anson Mount as Kevin, Ivana Michele Smith as N.D., Katie Doyle and Julius Ledda as EMTs, Masayo Ford as a nurse, David Ely as and intern and Larry Wiss, an anesthesiologist … The second script brings Libby (Cynthia Watros) on as a regular …

The Diamond Head location previously served as an Iraqi detention center in Solitary (episode 9).

Will “Zombie Dad” make an island appearance in the season opener? Tune in and see.
