The Discovery Kids on NBC may have a winner on its hands with 29 Down, the story of a group of teenagers stranded on an island when their plane crashes.
Sound familiar? That’s show business, you go with what’s proven.
The numbers from test screenings with 800+ adolescent and teen viewers are impressive.
“The responses were as strong in the 7-to-8 (year old) group as in the 15-year-olds,” Watumull said.
About half of the respondents said they would be willing to give up their current favorite show to watch “29 Down.”
Knowing how Gen X/Y love their high school dramas, ala Dawson’s Creek and Gilmore Girls, 29 Down could be a Saturday afternoon winner in a number of demographics.

Why would anyone in there right mind try to copy the show LOST. Are you guys that ridiculous to start a show quite FAMILIAR with the ABC’s hit show. What are you preteens? Grow up and get a life. Gah.
